We are rolling into our fourth week here at Vegan MoFo Headquarters! And we’re starting off this week’s giveaways with our friends from Herbivore Clothing Company!

herbivoreHerbivore is located in the vegan mini mall in Portland, OR and has been selling vegan t-shirt, hoodies, totes, stickers, and more for years. They constantly have new designs coming out, such as the Love Like No Matter Whose message on this new grey t-shirt featuring a charming rat. I love the hand drawn design on this one. Love that rat!

herbivore tsAnd you probably recognize their iconic cow hugger design on the tote bag below.  Herbivore is generously giving away one t-shirt (ladies cut or unisex) to a lucky winner and one tote bag to a different winner. Each will also come with a selection of Herbivore stickers.

Cow-Hugger-Tote-They are currently doing weekly specials with great discounts on a single item for the duration of the week, both in store and online. Follow their Facebook page for updates. You’ll also be able to keep up to date with the new products they release, such as their new hats, cup cozies, and belts. Herbivore is a great part of the vegan community and very generous with their time and with donations for events so I am thrilled that they are participating in Vegan MoFo this year.

  2. I have their lucky elephant design in two different colors of sweatshirts and love them both. Their kale & happy cow design tote bags also get loads of use at the farmers market. I love what they do!

  11. My fave herbivore item was the heather grey ‘my body is not a graveyard’ long sleeve. It has an awesome design and beautiful colours. Still trying to find one!! X

  12. oh my! how can I choose just one item?!?! the elephant who is vegan and loves you? the new rat? both the “compassion is invincible” designs… or the “herbivore with heart” collection? I think I’ll go for my beloved black cardigan with the “herbivore with heart” circle on the back. but I really love everything you make and everything you do!

  13. I love the “bacon had a mom” t-shirt. Its cute and when I wear it, hopefully people will look at it, stop and think that what my t-shirt says is true.

  18. Awesome, thanks! My favorite Herbivore Clothing item (which is no longer on site – just in tshirt form) is my “Only Kale Can Save Us Now” tote! It always gets a lot of attention and I love the colors.

  19. i’ve already raved about it on their FB page, but i adore my herbivore circle cardigan! it’s gonna be layering weather soon in the PNW and i hope they make 1,000,000 more cardigan designs so i can wear herbivore cardies all fall & winter long.

  20. My favorite Herbivore item is the fleece logo sweatshirt. It is very comfortable, soft, and well-made. I love snuggling into an oversized fuzzy sweatshirt.

  21. I love the Compassion Is Invincible logo, but all of the logos are great. They make spreading the vegan message fun!

  23. My favorite is the “What I Eat” print – I have it framed and matted in a gorgeous gold flecked frame that I found at the local humane society’s rummage sale.

  29. Hmmmmm….I have so many favorites but I think my most favorite is my purple Herbivore hoodie and my Good luck Elephant turquoise sweatshirt….they both fits great and get softer with every wash!

  34. The herbivore tote is so cute. The illustration reminds me of my animal loving kids and I am in desperate need of a vegan promoting grocery tote to lug everywhere in my small town.

  38. The totes are ‘totes amaze’ :))) I love a good slogan but clever imagery and prettiness win me right over and a beautiful tote is fab to go shopping with or just use as a general bag. Only kale can save us now and other gems make me smile.

  40. My favorite item is still my “cow hugger” long sleeve tee that I received as a gift 9 years ago! It’s a subtle yet strong message, and I enjoy talking with people after they ask what my shirt is about.

    With the tee came a postcard that says “Eat like you give a damn”. Love this message — it hangs up in my pod at work!

  46. Goodness, that’s tough. It was hard to pick from my vegan shirts to wear to the veg fest this weekend. I think it might be a toss up between my elephant “I’m vegan and I <3 you" and the grey v-neck "Compassion is invincible" shirts.

  48. I love my Good Luck Elephant t-shirt! It is so comfy and looks great with many outfits. I have purchased it in Austin when Herbivore Clothing team came over here for Austin VegFest earlier this year. I have never been to their store in Portland but will definitely visit if I am in town one day. I hope to get some sweatshirts and I like new knitted hats for winter.

  51. Love my “Love Life No Matter Whose” tank top and stickers I received in a care package from a sweet cousin in Texas. Such a great message I’m proud to wear and live the lifestyle. Aloha!

  56. I bought the herbivore “Love Life” belt at the chicago vegfest last year and now I live in portland and I wear my belt proudly!

  64. We have several, but my favorite is my son’s I’m Vegan and I love you elephant shirt. He has been wearing it since it was big enough to be a dress to now that it is turning into a belly shirt. We are passing it down to the baby next.

  76. Definitely the “my body is not a graveyard” design–good enough for me to have on a t-shirt and a hoodie. Various incarnations of “compassion is invincible” run a very close second, neck-and-neck with the basic-but-flawless old-school Herbivore cross.

    Tees with a message are great for everyday wear, and when I’m college leafleting, it reinforces the message.

  120. Oh, I love Herbivore! I love the design with the rabbits that says, “Love life, no matter whose.” The cow hugger design is adorable too, though!

  133. I love my Deathless cardigan I bought from shop when I was on holiday a few years ago. I left my bracelet in the changing room and Michelle was kind enough to post it all the way to England free of charge with loads of stickers which I distributed to Manchester vegans 🙂

  135. Well I only own one Herbivore item (living in Europe and all), but I do love my “Bacon had a mom”-Shirt.
    Seeing all the great designs on Facebook or on their website, I always wish they had a store somewhere near me. If I had to pick one from the website, it would be the good luck elephant hoodie. (Who doesn’t love elephants?)

  136. I love the look of the good luck elephant pants, they look so cosy. But I think my fave is the cow hugger bag. The illustration is adorable and I love the colour! All of their stuff is amazing, I wish I lived in Portland!

  139. I have grown weak after 10 years in L.A. and all of the cozy sweatshirts look like they will be perfect for surviving winter in the northeast. But since this is a t-shirt giveaway, the bacon had a mom shirt wins hands down.

    Good Luck Elephant, Love Life Long-Sleeved T with thumbholes (awesome for snow catchers!), but maybe favourite of them all is Only Kale Can Save Us Now – just because of the bamboo!

  147. The Praise Seitan design will forever be my favorite. I tried to order the long sleeved t-shirt with the design, many years ago, and they’d just sold out. Like, forever. 🙁

  149. I love the herbivore t shirts (i’ve seen some people with hoodies, but have no idea if those are still around) with the wee cross. simple. awesome. yay!

  152. I absolutely love the hoodie I bought. I wear it whenever I have the chance. But mostly I love their messages. Everything is straight forward and has a playfulness to it. 🙂

  155. I really love my lucky elephant racerback tank, everyone always asks where i got it and I tell them about herbivore. I have the cow hugger pin, I would LOVE the bag to use as a purse! I also look forward to getting the long sleeve love life no matter whose with the two bunnies! My favorite! I love herbivore clothing <3
