Veg-am, Completely Board Dawn used old Pinterest recipes all month, veganizing them and making some gluten free. I have a folder full of bookmarked recipes I haven’t used so I love the idea of going through them and making them for a month.

New Orleans in Green Melissa posted a full month of influences on New Orleans food with some recipes. A great history tour!

Team and Sympatico white chocolate matcha truffles I loved this tea theme and I think these sound amazing. Balls.

Vegan Sweet and Simple I found this toward the end of the month and am impressed.

Rissoles from Rosie’s Vegan Kitchen Rosie did an entire month of vegan food in Wales and I loved her variety of recipes. And I love fried potatoes.

Lemon Meringue Pie from Bite Sized Thoughts So pretty, so fluffy, so pie.

It’s the last official day of Vegan MoFo 2014 but things aren’t finished here at MoFo headquarters. Stay tuned for the upcoming Mofie Awards in the next few days. And stay tuned for the giveaway we have today! Beyond Meat has offered to give away a year supply of their product to one lucky winner!

You’ve probably seen and sampled Beyond Meat chicken free strips and their newer product, the beef free crumbles, at your local natural foods grocers. They’ve also had a big presence at recent food conventions such as Expo West that was all the rage on twitter and instagram this past year.

If you haven’t yet tried them this is the chance! The year supply will be 52 free coupons for one lucky winner! I’ll also choose 2 second place winners who will receive 10 free coupons each. With such a large prize, I decided that we should take Vegan MoFo 2014 out with a fun treasure hunt!

Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to find the answer to each question by checking out the main MoFo blogroll. Premium Chocolatiers Giveaway

Premium Chocolatiers is an online retailer that makes a variety of specialty chocolates and truffles. You may have heard of their Kickstarter campaign several months ago to bring about the NoNo’s Milk Like Chocolate Candies. Similar to an M&M, the NoNo has a candy layer over a thin layer of chocoalte but with a marshmallow inside. According to the Laziest Vegans, they are “melt in your mouth”.

Cookbook Giveaway Straight From the Earth

As we round out our fourth week of Vegan MoFo 2014 I’m pleased to bring you another cookbook giveaway for Straight From the Earth by Marea Goodman, published by Chronicle Books.

Straight From the Earth is written by the woman who founded Earthbound Farms and is a vegan cookbook that focuses on using fresh produce. With recipes like Mixed Chicory Salad with Avocado, Garlic Croutons, and Pine Nuts and Cumin-Roasted Cauliflower with Carrots, it is an excellent cookbook to have on hand to use up some of those never-used-it-before veggies you get in your CSA box.

It’s not just veggies, though, as there are also recipes such as Raspberry Jam Thumbprint Cookies and Very Chocolatey Chocolate Brownies for your sweet tooth. With 100 recipes covering breakfast to dessert, this would be an excellent cookbook for someone who is veggie curious and looking to expand their diet. And what seasoned vegan can’t use more creative recipes for a perfect vegetable potluck dish?

Chickpea Magazine Giveaway

As we head toward the end of MoFo 2014 we still have some great giveaways coming up. Including today’s giveaway, which is for a year subscription or single issue of Chickpea Magazine!

Chickpea is a quarterly publication founded in 2011 and is known for its gorgeous photography and layout. Each copy includes recipes, food musings, and DIY projects such as the do it yourself bouillon in the current fall issue.

We are rolling into our fourth week here at Vegan MoFo Headquarters! And we’re starting off this week’s giveaways with our friends from Herbivore Clothing Company!

Herbivore is located in the vegan mini mall in Portland, OR and has been selling vegan t-shirt, hoodies, totes, stickers, and more for years. They constantly have new designs coming out, such as the Love Like No Matter Whose message on this new grey t-shirt featuring a charming rat. I love the hand drawn design on this one. Love that rat!

Today is the day to get your gluten freedom on! I am so pleased to have a giveaway from the great Julie Hasson of Julie’s Original Gluten Free Baking Mixes!

You already know of Julie from her hit cookbooks such as Vegan Diner and Vegan Pizza, and she also has a new casserole book coming out this fall. Welcome to the third week of Vegan MoFo! That means it’s also our third week of giveaways! To start things off we have a great giveaway from a newer company, Jolly Llama.

Jolly Llama makes delicious whole fruit sorbet pops in a variety of flavors. Do you miss those fun orange push up ice pops you got as a kid? Well these are here to take their place with a tastier vegan version. All the Jolly Llama sorbet pops are vegan, gluten free and kosher, and most varieties are also nut free.

They have standard favorites like raspberry (my personal favorite) but also newer hits like mango and a dark chocolate coconut cream.
