GIVEAWAY – I <3 Veganmofo!
This contest is closedI think for a many of us Veganmofo is a time to do something that we would never, in a million years, otherwise do. I’m thinking of Laughrodiasiac’s vegan dessert trifle…with beyond meat beef tips or Mo’s The Winchester Oklahoma Bacon Fatty Melt Layering System. Whether you are making ice cream every day like Killer Bunnies or Eating Broccoli Soup Tacos like The Lonestar Plate, I want to know about it.
TO ENTER TO WIN this lovely cross stitch from teenytinytantrums. Comment below (with an email address you check) What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve done or read about for veganmofo? And sorry but this one is open to US only!

This is my first vegan mofo, so I don’t have that many crazy things, but trying to keep up posting what I found every day got way too time consuming. Love the cross stitch!
I haven’t done anything particular crazy (beyond signing up to blog so much in one month), but Laughrodiasiac’s “Rachel’s English Trifle” post had me trying to look away in horror and cracking up at the same time.
That trifle! I’m not cheating or being lazy; that was seriously it. I kept posting and reposting it on FB because I just couldn’t believe it. That trifle deserves a prize!
PS that cross-stitch is ridiculously adorable.
I talked like a pirate about butterscotch pudding! That, friends, was no easy feat. Check it out: http://www.neworleansingreen.blogspot.com/2013/09/happy-butterscotch-pudding-and-talk.html
I’d like to have been crazier this month, but I did make a ramen burger to kick off Mofo!
I briefly contemplated drying and grinding my own corn.
I did not do this.
Dove into a cuisine that I have very little background in- Latin! I had some super successes along with some failures. 🙂
It’s been great!
Aaah all of the giveaways I see are for the US only 🙁
Man, what a prize! I haven’t been adventurous, and I’m not even on the blog roll, haha! Next year I’m thinking of making vegan cheeze. . . Maybe I’ll have to stitch something for myself, instead. (:
I attempted to make hot dogs with no gluten and no soy. I was unsuccessful, but on the way.
I broke two of my toes the first week of MoFo, but have still been walking around the kitchen & baking stuff everyday! Stubborn probably should have been my middle name.
I just get nothing done because I keep browsing all the blogs!
Tried to blog every day… ha! I always fall on my face during MoFo, but start out with the best of intentions!
I got my husband to sport a ridiculous curly white wig and model it for the interwebs! http://cadryskitchen.com/2013/09/18/back-in-thyme-puffy-nachos-with-spicy-black-beans/
I’ve been posting pictures and sketching cats.
well it says US residents only but surely we outside the US can share our crazy mofo meals – I made a vegan stargazy pie which was quite an achievement – I was proud of it because I never thought I would get it done – veganising a fish, egg and bacon pie with fish heads sticking out of it was quite a challenge but I did it – http://gggiraffe.blogspot.com.au/2013/09/the-mystery-of-vegan-stargazy-pie-in.html
Love this! Fantasy author Charles de Lint wrote a book called The Little Country that takes place in Mousehole. I loved the name of this recipe when he wrote about it, and now you’ve veganized it. You are my hero!
thanks for that memory amy – I loved that book too and I hadn’t realised it was set in Mousehall – now I love the stargazy pie even more
I have to say !!! before I even click over to see it. I’m trying to remember where I first heard about stargazy pie, I swear it was in a kid’s book!
It’s not that crazy, but I dedicated a whole day to ‘being vegan metal’: http://killmyblues.tumblr.com/post/61456953566/veganmofo-metal-monday
I am new vegan so i am doing crazy things everyday and learning more n more..its a great experience toward a wonderful happy journey…Love the giveaway:)
Not sure if this can be considered crazy, but I made poi cupcakes! I have really enjoyed reading some of the other blogs out there though, like Veghotpot and the stargazy pie mentioned by Green Gourmet Giraffe is pretty wild too!
I ate tacos for an entire month. Though, really, I think it’s the sanest thing I’ve ever done.
I have a tendency to go along with pretty much everything that is authored in “GIVEAWAY
– I | VeganMoFo”. Thank you for all the actual details.
Thank you,Nestor
