This summer at Vida Vegan Con I had the pleasure of finally getting to meet the woman behind Panda with Cookie and check out her adorable creations in real life, they are even cuter in person! She also told me to check out the Flavor Spot in Portland where I got a vegan breakfast sausage and maple syrup wrapped in a waffle so she will always have a special place in my heart for that!
Lisa is doing a fabulous Tofu Pirate Set giveaway for one lucky person to celebrate veganmofo! The winner will get their very own handmade tofu pirate plush
and will get to learn all about tofu pirate’s rollicking excursions in the Tofu Pirate Comic Adventure Zine of Fun where Tofu pirate has 4 mini adventures with various friends.
“Tofu Pirate in Existential Crisis” and “Tofu Pirate Memories” will make you laugh and cry and think. And mostly laugh. Guest appearances by old friends Mushroom Pirate, Tempeh Pirate and more!

What don’t I want would be an easier question to answer, because the answer would be, nothing. (I’m allergic to dates and still bought the ballz zine.) My favorite is the Red Cotton Apron with Mushroom Pirate Applique. I surprisingly do not have an apron. This is surprising because I cook a lot. And I mean A LOT. I love the red colour and the cute little mushroom. Growing up I always hated mushrooms. Except raw and dipped in ranch. When I went vegan I decided to try them again and fell in LOVE. I can’t get enough! every kind! Steamed, baked, roasted, on pizza, in pasta, chili, stuffed, whatever way I can get them!

The Tom Servo apron is amazing! I’m from the home of MST3K, and was able to catch Cinematic Titanic live a couple weekends ago!
Would have been no problem is I had any little ones – anything Tardis. But other than that the Panda with Cookie tote bag – can you have too many tote bags??

I love the Tom Servo Apron! I was a huge MST3000 fan and actually shared it with my son, who is now 21 and also a huge fan! I saw it and added it to my favorite things. I hope to buy it in the future because I can’t think of a cooler apron than one with Tom Servo. He knows everything and will have a funny, sarcastic, running dialog of my efforts in the kitchen. Most of my cooking efforts are funny on their own, but having Tom along will help me see that they are funny! In Austin, where I live, our Alamo Drafthouse has a Master Pancake Theater where two talented men comment their way through corny movies MST 3000 style. It is a must see if you ever come to Austin!
